what chance do i have if i got waitlisted at harvard and yale? should i just forget about it, or try to send them a letter while sending my deposit for another school? any help please?

I'm pretty sure u'll be in hot water if you dont send a deposit to another school. Did they tell you any waitlist stats? For Brown, they sed approx 500 will probably stay on waiting list, and approx 50 will be offered admissions.

yeah i'll send my deposit, but does anyone know if its worth a shot for harvard or yale? i mean i had a 1560/800/770/740, good AP scores, 8 AP's my senior year, and pretty good EC's (not superbly outstanding but definitely not shabby). so it doesnt feel good to go 0 for 3 for these ivies, and probably 0 for 4 with princeton left. help?

I've been waitisted twice so far and I figure what have you got to lose by staying on them? It's really uncertain but better than flat out giving up
