Does anyone know if Johns Hopkins binds you to the major you put on your application? My acceptance letter doesn't say anything about being accepted to a particular major or college.

jhu doesn't bind you to a major... i heard they are very flexible about switching majors once you're in.

That's correct. My SAT score happen to be exactly 1550 (lol) and I got waitlisted. ECs do count a lot. Unfortunately, I don't have much.

Hey Nocalguy. So where are you going, Berkeley? I got rejected from Berkeley. I'm pretty much narrowed down to UCLA, JHU, UCSD unless I get into Stanford off the waitlist. Which would you choose between UCLA and JHU?

By Nocalguy (Nocalguy) on Thursday, April 03, 2003 - 04:15 pm: Edit

I still want to go to JHU. I'll probably put down a deposit at Berkeley and try to see if I can get into JHU off the waitlist. If you want to go into medicine, pick JHU.

lol, I was waitlisted. Makes sense, considering I never sent in my supplemental forms for the common app OR my application fee.

I didn't take a place on the waitlist, either, since my plans are set.
