Did anyone apply to Wellesley? Did you get in or were you rejected? What are your stats? Wellesley is my top choice, and any information is really appreciated! Thanks!

Hey,I apply to Wellesley. And I just got my decision. They put me into waiting list pool. I am really disappointed, cuz W is really my first choice. Just.... for some reason, I didnot apply it as Early Decision. \clipart

what are your stats?

Do you think I still have chance?

i was accepted with a full ride, but they also said that there is "a housing shortage and at this time there is no housing available for newly admitted students" :-( then they went on to say that housing may become available over the summer, blah blah blah...

4.0 gpa, 1390 sat, 31 act, not many ECs...only 4 but much time put into them and all very meaningful to me, great recs, great essays.

Kw Mich...write them and assure them that you will attend wellesley if admitted, make sure you tell them about any new awards or honors, and also how much you want to go there. it will make you stand out against those who are content to sit and wait.

wow my friend got a 33 on her ACT, 800s on 3 SAT IIs, is 8/656 students, captain of tennis and aca dec. got into vassar, swarthmore and university of chicago but waitlisted at wellesley. and she really wanted to go there.

Wembley....Thanks for your advices. I really appreciate that you gave me help. Actually, I have told them I wish to stay on the waiting list, also, mentioned HEARTILY that W is my top choice.

A housing shortage?! it is not good news.

I got in but i didn't hear anything about a housing shortage. I know that a lot of people applied this year but I think they still took the same number of people so I don't know why they have a housing shortage. BTW Tth, are you going? If so, what dorm?
