I plan to go into medicine. I am thinking about a ba/ms/md program and was wondering if the following SAT IIs would be suitable to get into one of these: Bio, Chem, Writing
If not one of those programs, a college with a good premed program. Thanks.

The three you have suggested are fine, but you also need to take a math SAT II exam, preferably Math IIC.

Thanks Gandhi. I have another question. When is the best time to take these? BTW, when is the best time to apply to colleges? I am not taking bio until senior year so should I get a prep book and start the studying now? I'm gonna be a junior. Thanks.
BTW Gandhi, are you actually indian?

Do I really need math for a program like that?

Yes, you definitely need it! You have to take a Math Sat II.

Ok, I Eat Water, here are the answers to your questions (to the best of my ability). For your first question, the best time to take the SAT II exams is immediately after your finish the pertinent class in school (e.g. take the Chem SAT II after you have finished chemistry in school). In terms of your second question, the best time to apply to colleges is as early as possible. Although colleges say the deadline is January 1 of your senior year, send in your application well before the deadline. To answer your third question, you should obtain a preparatory book and start studying; finish taking your SAT II's before December of your senior year. For your fourth question, yes, I am an Asian-Indian.

Thanks for the good answers. What type of math does the SAT II math cover (for both Ic and IIc)?
