I was very excited today when I read my acceptance letter for the college of my choice until I got to the part where they told me that they had dispersed all of the financial aid funds ! I'm an independant student and there is NO WAY that I can possibly afford to pay for this! Can anybody tell me what to do here? What exactly is the point of admitting someone who probably will not be able to attend due to lack of funding?

Just an update...I got waitlisted for aid and it came through very nicely! I'm excited to be heading off to school this fall with no financial worries...
