WHat have you heard about this particular college? Is it as good as people say?

its the business school at NYU. pretty good school, but UPenn Wharton business school is better

stern's admissions are more difficult than NYU's arts & sciences. whereas the a&s crowd tends to be more laid back and appreciative of the entire downtown nyc scene, the stern students tend to be, as you might expect, all business. it's a wall street feeder school, heavy on finance majors.

Hey Aurelia. I've heard good things about Stern. One of my best friends got wait-listed there as well. NYU may be expensive, but the name does carry I suppose. I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of you (though I secretly want my friend to come to a UC with me! LoL) Best of Luck!!!

A very good business school, along with Haas (Berkeley) and Michigan's but not quite up to the level of Wharton (Penn) and Sloan (MIT) supposedly.
