I am a freshman transfer, 3.85 GPA, and I was basically deferred to Michigan. I got a letter saying that although I am someone that could succeed at Mich, the limited number of spots prevents them from making a decision at this time. I emailed the woman in charge of my application, and told her how much I wanted to attend and that if I was accepted I'd enroll. What else should I do, if anything? Thanks

Send a formal letter, that way they have something to look at when making the final decisions.
