Has anyone heard of a school taking away an acceptance because of falling grades late senior year?

Yes. I had a friend who lost his acceptance for a low math grade the last semester of senior year. He is now at a JC.

UVA has stated that it has taken back acceptance offers to kids who screwed up their senior grades. I'm not sure if I read it on their web site or in an article in the Washington Post, probably the latter.
