Hey-
I was in that class. they are very strict about who enrolls and how old they are. They also monitor how much wine is poured(with a stopper)and anyone who gets caught trying to double pour or drink someone elses wine gets bounced from the class on the spot. The exams are no joke; it is one of the most failed classes at Cornell. It is much more than sipping wine, you get to learn about the processes used and the culture of the countries that produce the wine. Maybe you shouldn't post stuff before getting your facts straight(at least about the wine class)

I gotta say that the class is still pretty interesting though.

Hey, I'm gonna be an engineering student at Cornell next year. I don't know much about enrolling in classes in the other colleges. Would I be able to take a class like that if I'm not a hotellie?

Anyone can be in Wines class, but generally only seniors get in because of the pre-enrolling preference. There are lots of fun classes you can take at Cornell, and many are open to anyone in the Cornell community. If you have seen the course manual, you know what I am talking about! There is a class on just about anything you can think of.
Congrats on Cornell, even though you are an engineer (long live the Dragon!)
