If you don't mind, what were your stats?

By Cara811888 (Cara811888) on Friday, March 28, 2003 - 04:22 am: Edit

No prob.. SAT1 1410, satIIs were pretty awful..700/680/650 , toefl 660 , I got the impression that they're not really expecting to take many people off the list but..I'd love to go there so fingers crossed all the way! How were ur stats and stuff?

I'm in at Conn College, heard yesterday, but I don't know if I will end out going. I've been accepted by BC and Holy Cross, awaiting Brown, but that's doubtful. A large folder arrived with a sticker, a book about diversity, financial aid award (very so-so considering their extremely high tuition) There is also an invitation to their admitted student open house and I may go since I'm only 45 min away. I'm still mulling things over, but I think BC's on the top of the list for now

Just speculation on my part, but I am hearing about a lot of people being put on wait lists (including my daughter!) I wouldn't be surprised if the schools are expecting a lower yield this year because of all the multiple applications. In that case, many applicants on the wait lists could get an invitation.
(And of course, if students inform schools where they know they will not be going, the wait lists can be activated sooner.)

I got waitlisted too, but I got into Duke, Trinity, Boston College, and Colgate. Schools that are all generally considered better than Conn.College. I don't know what happened. 1480 SAT.
