Anyone know what the reputation for their waitlist is? How many do they usually accept off of it?
|By Jsagoff (Jsagoff) on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 - 08:36 pm: Edit|
Here's what I've heard:
This year, Wash U took about 16% regular decision (last year it was 26%). What I've heard they're planning to do is see how many of the 16 percent say they'll go and then start accepting masses of the waitlist.
In the case of people like Medusa, Wash U was afraid that he/she was obviously overqualified and was just using Wash U as a safety. If Medusa shows interest, I'm sure he/she will be admitted.

Is anyone going to the Multicultural weekend on the 10th of April? If so, what school are you going to in Wash U?
