Depends on what school you are transferring to. Each one required different transfer requirements.

For me to x-fer to UCB, I needed 60 completed UC x-ferrable units, Math 110 (stats), and at least two college-level compositions courses (Eng 1A and 1C). The other 50 or so units needed to reflect a general education, or lower division, course load. I also had to do a lot of major prep (six history courses.)

Hope that helps!

I'm a freshman at UPENN and I've applied to Brown as a transfer applicant. Brown is the only school i'm applying to and I want to attend more than anything because I know it's the best place for a student like me.

Please tell me what you think my chances are. Also, can anyone tell me anything about the transfer admission process at Brown? Thanks!

stats:
1390 SATs (720 verbal; 670 math)
3.7 gpa at penn
B+ student at prestigious boarding school
lots of impressive EC's and internships
great recs
intended major(s): history, psci; minor in egyptology (i know, random; but im not kidding)
don't need any financial aid + parents are "connected" to say the least
hard-working, passionate kid with impressive essays, colorful personality, etc.

so, on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being greatest, what would you guys say my chances are?
