I got a lengthy handwritten postcard from UG Admissions at Northwestern saying it was a pleasure to read my application. Do they send this to everyone? I hope it is a good sign!

hey i got into northwestern,
i have no idea why.
I am from the uk, I go to a pretty tough school. I have 1380 sats, 680 sat2 german, 630 sat2 math and writing. Decent recs and ec's. Applied for computer science. Ok essays I think.
So as you can tell, if I can get in everyone can get in.
Good luck to all those waiting. you will do fine I'm sure.

Did anyone receive two postcards from Northwestern admissions office?

I received 2 with the same message and handwriting. It's very ironic.

I got into NU as well, to Weinburg (Arts and Sciences) for Economics. I'm an international student doing the UK system

1520 SAT I (770V 750M)
720 Chem, 720 Maths, 790 Writing
No GPA but probably about 3.8-3.9 out of 4
My rec was really good, I was happy about my essays and my ECs were probably my strongest point

Asdf, the decisions for international applicants were mailed on the 14th of march, and the acceptances were fedex-ed. no idea why.

I got in. International from India. 790 Verbal ...640 Math...Yadda Yadda..blah...blah....blah... Please don't ask for any more stats. It's all over now.

I got into the NU Weinberg college of arts and sciences too, but i am from CA. Does anyone know when the HPME decisions will be released? that's NU's BS/MD program. I got interviewed for that, but only got the NU decision so far

I was admitted to NU's Weinberg too. My essays and extracurriculars were very strong. Still pending on University of Pennsylvania.
