if i get straight a's except for b's in ap/honors english, but i continue to take the course every year, do colleges look down? if this ap class is a fairly easy class (most get a's), will colleges know? or will they see the ap and assume that i am pretty smart? thanks

If it really is easy and not just to you and your classmates, then they will know because of AP Scores. But if everyone gets 4's and 5's, then they will know that the school is very competitive.
