Please help.

I'm a transfer student and I sent my SIR to UCLA on the deadline (June 1st) but I got accepted to UCB on appeal on the 4th--so do I tell UCLA I won't be attending before I accept UCB (deadline June 13th). Will not withdrawing LA make my UCB SIR not valid or something?

Also do I send UCLA a letter or call or what?

Also, do appeals have different terms of admissions (mine arn't posted yet)? For all other UCB admits you cannot get lower than a 3.0 for your spring semester.--Do you think mine are higher because I appealed?

thanks and sorry for the multiple problems.

I would suggest calling UCLA and telling them you won't be attending in the fall. That will get the situation cleared up immediately and you can send in your SIR to UCB.

I would call UCLA and UCB.

I suggest actually sending in your SIR to UCB first. Then call the UCB office and let them know that you got in recently by appeal and will be dropping from UCLA. You will retract from UCLA as soon as you get confirmation that Berkeley received your SIR. You want to do this just in case some bad luck happens..and suddenly your SIR isn't received by the due date or they somehow forgot you got in by appeal. You want to make sure you are at a school next year.

Then once you get confirmation, call UCLA.
