Is there any official page that will clearly explain to me how UC GPA is figured?

Is the first half of senior year excepted or included?

10th, 11th grade combined, then add upto like 8 semester AP points?

I think that's about right.

Are community college courses honored by my high school included?

Are classes taken in the Summer school after 11th Grade included?

Is it exactly 8 semester AP points or not?

I need the official answer.

I am for certain, it seems, going to go to a UC.

Summer school, it depends where the classes are annotated.

TMK, community college classes are honored, but no extra points are given.

Awesome, that works. Thanks a whole lot.

The Summer school thing makes but about .5 difference anyhow.

IB courses receive an extra point, correct?

Go right to the source at www.ucop.edu/pathways. If you're in a Calif. high school, you need to use this site to find out which classes at your school are "UC approved" - those are the only classes that will be used to compute your UC GPA. There is a searchable database on this site that lets you search for your school and loads of information about how the GPA is computed and other admissions topics. No one should even consider applying to the UC's without reading this site through several times. Good luck!
