I was just wondering if anyone knew which regents are required in order to get a regents diploma with honors in New York State. I know you need an 90% average in order to get one, but I dont know which ones are required for this kind of diploma. If anyone knows anything about this...I would appreciate all of your help.

The NYS Dept. of Ed website has all the specifics,but I think you need acertain amount of Regents with 85 or 90, in any event go directly to website for exact info.

I went to the website but could not find which ones wereneeded in specific. I think (based on what my friend tells me) that the regents required are:

English
US History
Global
A science( dont know which one)can biology count?
Math A

Can anyone verify this information

I just checked it out . Go Into State Ed website, then link to special topics then to "g" for graduation requirements. You will find it there. The diploma is called an advanced regents diploma.

I was actually wondering about the Diploma with Honors (not the advanced one) It does not specifically list which regents need to be taken for the class of 2004. I am soooo confused.

There is no such thing. Where did you hear that? The only honors diploma we have at my school is for anyone who has maintained a top GPA (probably maybe top 30% of the class?) I don't know how that works since I didn't get it ;(


But it seems like you're referring to the advanced diploma if you pursuing Math B...
