What if your transcript is average but you SATs are pretty good?

I would say Transcript is more important, but I'm no admissions rep.

Transcript -- gpa and your curriculum-- is the most important.
The best predictor of how students do in college is their gpa. Adcoms view students with low gpas, high SATs as lazy and as likely to flunk out of college due to lack of a work ethic.

if my unweighted gpa is a 92 on a 100 point scale....my courses are all the most rigorous possible (most are AP), but my unweighted rank blows (not even top 15%) cuz the CP teachers in my school GIVE OUT high grades.....i have a REALLY good score on my SAT, do you think that i am at risk of being viewed as "lazy" and underachieving?? (im applying to the top schools in the nation)
