When is the big day when you leave for college? Freshman arrive at my school on August 15th and classes start on the 19th. I can't wait! It'll give me 3 solid months to make as much money as possible.

My school doesn't start until mid/late September, but I'm leaving in July so I can get a place to live (off-campus, obviously), start a job, all that good stuff. Woot.

I'm leaving on the 23rd (its about a six hour drive) and am moving in on the 25th. It will give me a chance to explore the town, get a bank account, etc.

I cant wait!!

Rowan, I don't know where you are going but don't wait until July to look for housing. Most housing close to campus at most schools will be gone by then. Now is the time to secure that off campus house or apartment because students will be moving out now.

Orientation starts the 20th, but I've been told that they have the Freshmen move in in groups, so I MAY not be on that day. Classes start the 28th.

Classes start September 7, but I believe freshman start moving in August 31.

Classes start aug 30th, move in days are Aug 27/28, Im leaving the 26th...Im goin from Long Island to Md.

Scary!! August 12th I leave Gatwick LONDON for LAX Los angeles!!! aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh so scared!!! ya'll better like my british ass or else! hahahahaha. no, i'm really looking forward to meeting everyone at USC... who knows what the next four years have in store for me!

"First Days" at Williams begin on August 31st and last until September 8th, I suppose to give incoming students some time to settle down, get used to the campus, meet people, etc. So yeah, that should be fun. Classes start on the 9th.

Columbia Move-In date: August 30th.

Class start around the 7th.

I think the Yale move-in date is Aug. 29th.

Sep. 11-12 = move-in days
Sep. 13-19 = WOW (week of welcome) for freshmen
Sep. 20 = classes start

My schedule breaks down like this:

Aug. 14: Freshman Arrive
Aug. 14-18: Orientation
Aug. 19: Classes start

for my school. we have a little weekend orientation over the summer then freshman move in days are september 18/19 then we will have a few days with activiites (like the new student convocation) i think classes start september 22 or 23

I don't plan on waiting 'til July to find a place. I'm actually looking now. I just won't be able to move in until July. That's what I meant.
