If a high school student is offered acceptance to a college, and the midyear report and transcripts (not including the last semester of high school) have already been sent in, what is the chance of a college rescinding the offer if it receives the final transcripts at the end of spring and sees that a student dropped a science/nonrequired class not related to their intended major? This is assuming that good grades were maintained in the other classes. Thanks.

you need to contact them right away and tell them you dropped the class. don't let it be a surprise later.
