All three are great, but I have to choose only one. I will very likely to take computer science as my major, and probably Cornell University is the strongest in the three. What about the other two? Do I need to consider them seriously?
Thank you for your comments!

Cornell is way ahead, miles ahead of Brown. Do not even consider Tufts.--this is for CS, of course.

Sturmstiger why dont you go revisit Brown and Cornell and look closely at their computer science programs and see which ones are stronger, and maybe talk to a few professors or something.

Cornell is probably the best of the three. Remember it is where the whole idea of the network was developed. Also, my dad, he has a PhD in Computer Science, thinks much higher of Cornell's program than of any other Ivy with regards to Computer Science. Partly because many of his former professors defected from Eastern Europe and are now teaching there. Did you get into Cornell's engineering school? Or Arts and Science school?

I got into Cornell engineering school. Its CS Dept is assigned to both Engineering school and Arts and Science school. As far as I know, they have the same professors with slightly different course requirement. Is that right?
Does anyone know how much freedom is given to students in choosing their courses in Cornell?
For example, can I take a foreign language course or history course while having CS(Engineering School) as my major?
Thanks!

Cornell or Brown. Both are very good for undergraduate computer science.
The top ten schools in Gourman's computer science ranking are: 1 MIT, 2 Stanford, 3 Cornell, 4 Berkeley, 5 CMU, 6 UIUC, 7 UWSeattle, 8 Princeton, 9 Yale, 10 Brown.

Thanks for the ranking.
I am also considering Cornell as my first choice, but I have not yet received its FinAid info or the official decision letter(I checked the decison on its website), so it will pretty much depends on the FinAid package. Has anyone outside US (I live in China) received the big envelope from Cornell? And is Cornell usually generous in giving aid to intl. students?
And do students in Cornell often take courses outside their College (eg. for engineering students taking course in CAS)?
Thanks.
