I just found out that I've been accepted to UCSD by exception. I was also admitted to UCSC by exception. The reason?
I'm a home study applicant who didn't have an SAT score of 1400 +. =( Thus, because of this, I don't meet UC's Minimum Eligibility Requirements..... =(
But UCSD accepted me..... now I'm waiting on Berkeley.....place your bets, if you please! =) And thanx!!!!
White FEMALE, IN-STATE, BAY AREA

SAT II: French 800, Math IIC 760, Chemistry 750, Writing 720
GPA: 4.5 weighted, 4.0 unweighted
--Organic Chemistry, college level
--Multivariable/Vector Calculus, college level
--Differential Equations, college level
--Linear Algebra, college level
--five semesters of French, college level
--two semesters of English, college level
--Human Anatomy, colllege level
--various foreign language prizes (national and local)

I've received only two B's in two college classes (one in a summer calculus class on quarter system, one in organic chemistry with a shortened semester due to budget cuts) due to some emotional circumstances i.e. hardship.
Any and all bets are appreciated! Thanx!
