i was wondering if it matters where you get your BS degree....
I really want to go to medical school, and I want to know if the school you got your undergraduate studies really matter much...
EX: UCR for undergrad

It doesn't really matter in terms of getting a job afterwards because the grad school is what is looked at. However, the undergrad school does matter when *applying* for grad schools. The grad looks at the prestige and difficulty of the undergrad schools of applicants. The test is the main factor, of course, but a better undergrad school would put you over other applicants. I know that the University of Washington Medical School often takes Stanford graduates but rarely its own graduates.
