HAHA! i wish you could... Rolling... so any clue when i MIGHT hear??? QUESTION!!!- what were your scores, rank GPA SAT etc.

By Synapse (Synapse) on Sunday, March 28, 2004 - 03:55 pm: Edit

SAT = 1240
GPA= 3.7 Weighted
8 APs tons of honors
good essays, recs etc
Rank= top 20%

You should go to their website.. get their number and call them up. Thats what I did and sometimes they might tell you if they are finished reviewing your application. If not wait another week and then see what to do.

they keep sayign im still in review (as of last week i was still in review) :/

SAT- 980 520/math 460/verbal
SPA- 4.27 (weighted or unweighted)- damn i forgot
all AP's avaiable plus honors
---didnt do an essay or recs :/---
Rank- 14/111 so yeah around top 20%

hummmmm....

You should get in.. I dont think a low SAT score would really hurt you if your gpa is that good.

Remember, she's out-of-state, though. Is there some reason that Albany is so high on your list?

Britt,

You are in!

Albany does not function under rolling admissions. SUNY Binghamton uses rolling admissions.

I hope you all are right.. its just hard keeping positive when i still havent heard anything...

if i dont get albany its Texas Tech for me, but i want out of state and albany is a pretty fair school to attend with scores like mine.

I hope you get in...Have you called the admissions office? Nothing beats a failure but a try.

By Britt85 (Britt85) on Sunday, March 28, 2004 - 06:24 pm: Edit

Britt85,

I'm pretty sure because many people in my school applicad to Albany and they have yet to hear anything from them. And trust me, their status are NOWHERE near as good as yours. Your GPA is great! You'll be fine.

But I do think that you should call the admissions just because April is a tad late for State school admission accpetance. But good luck anyway!

By Britt85 (Britt85) on Sunday, March 28, 2004 - 06:38 pm: Edit

yeah im calling april 4th if i havent heard anything... it gives them unitl the 1st to decide and 4 days to send and recieve...

so these people still havent heard anything? why is that? so they arent denied yet either?

doesnt rolling mean it continues? so that would explain why they havent heard anything yet ?

By Britt85 (Britt85) on Sunday, March 28, 2004 - 07:47 pm: Edit

is there anyway to check your status online? i havent found anywhere.

By Ceo1093 (Ceo1093) on Sunday, March 28, 2004 - 08:14 pm: Edit

It is NOT true.. all SUNY schools function under rolling admissions. Just be patient.

By Britt85 (Britt85) on Sunday, March 28, 2004 - 09:24 pm: Edit

yeah thats what i had thought... THANKS
