Does anyone know if Stanford sends acceptance packages overnight or by 2-day mail? If one lives on the East coast, when should he or she expect to receive the package assuming they go out Monday?

They sent them our early decision to me by regular (usps) mail. You should get yours on wednesday if they are sent out on monday.

But if you're out of state like me you will probably get it UPS Next Day Air. Anyway, don't freak out unless you haven't received anything by the 1st b/c that's when the admit site goes live. Good luck

Well, isn't there a way of learning the decision on-line for Stanford?I live in Cyprus so I think it will take a bit long for the package to reach here.

Firat, if you've been reading the Stanford discussion board, it would seem that sometime on (perhaps before, wishful thinking) the First of April, they send you an E-mail telling you if you're in or not. last year, ED, they sent emails to internationals on the first. The message, so i hear, went something like this. "We do not completely trust international couriers, so we want to make sure you hear this..." and go from there, yes or no. And maybe waitlist. Anyways, those of us that live outside America will know by the first or so. I'm in Malaysia, so i'm in a similar situation.

Well,I wish I get rejected since it will be a deadly hard decision whether to go to MIT or Stanford.:)

Firat, tell Stanford to "Show me the money" heh

Anyway, I'm a stanford fan and I say that Stanford is way better.

My friend's SAT1 score was v630 m780.. for SAT2 physics he scored 700+ and english and math 600+ respectively... he's got predicted all 7s and 6s for his IB scores... ranked 2/40 in class and i'm wondering why, at least, did he not get waitlisted.....
