Dillydils:
Congrats !!!!
U have nice stats!
Did you get need-based aid or only merit aid and do you have any idea on how many intl students have they awarded aid to?
I am asking this coz one of my cousin who also applied got rejected by them for lack of aid.
His stats:
SAT 1: 1510 M780 V730
SAT 2: M2C800 PHY800 WR650
RANK: 1 out of 80
Excellent recs and nice essays..
Awesome EC's for good number of years..
Lots of leadership positions and even an International Award/Recognition in Computers.
I just don't understand it...
He took it as his safety.

Hi,
I got awarded merit-based. (asa packer scholarship). Sorry, I have no idea about the number of international applications receiving aid. I did request financial aid but they ended up giving merit aid so there was no need left for the financial aid (if that makes sense).
Edizzy: I think you have a nice chance of getting in. Not a reach but not a safety...

same thing happened to me, rejected for asking for aid.
