Im a junior in high school with the following question:
If i am a strong math/science person (800's on math and physics sat2's, BC calc in junior year), as well as a strong language person(AP french junior year, AP Spanish senior year, speak 2 other languages besides English fluently), is it wise to apply to MIT as a language major, since they get less of those? or are my chances equal no matter what I put as my major?
The rest of my stats are pretty good, those of an average "ivy" candidate, but nothing super exceptional(10+ap's, 10 percent of class, etc)
thanks
alex
