Did anyone call the admissions office of UMICH and get a decision on whether or not they were accepted?

you can call and ask when to expect your decision. i did that (back in november) and they said it was mailed out already and that i should get it in a couple days, they wouldnt however tell me over the phone whether or not i got in, the next day sure enough i was accepted

i sent it dec. 6th, my teacher sent the rec jan 1st, i got the 'we didnt get ur teacher rec 'round jan 15th.

i called about my application and the lady said, "we mailed your decision letter yesterday. You should be recieving good news anytime.
Me: can you tell me for sure if i'm in? (i'm a little dense)
Her: I thought i just did."

at the end, she said, "Goodbye, and congratulations."

there's no harm in calling

they just said, i can expect it in 12 weeks.......
hmmm maybe i should call tomorrow for a more thorough response
