I just got rejected from UCLA and now I am thinking that I may also be rejected from UCSD. Here are my stats:
GPA. 3.83
SAT I : 1250
SAT II's : 720 , 650 and 550 ( french )
senior year classes include ap french , ap econ, ap stat, ap calc and physics
is it likely that I should be accepting another rejection?

im in the same boat as you with slighty lower satII average, but higher weighted gpa. I'd really like to know our chances, thanks.

I think you'll make it.
How about:
3.71 UC GPA (really difficult school)
1340 SAT
740, 750, 730 SAT IIS
i think my stupid horrendous GPA kept me out of UCLA, and it might do the same for UCSD.

nucleargod:
Your SAT II's seem to be a little low and your SAT I's seem to be a little under average. However, your GPA and rank are quite good. I know a friend going to UCSD who had 1100's SAT I and about a 3.8 GPA, so you have a shot. Just hope you wrote good personal statements and had good EC's. BTW, he played a sport.

does attending a highly competitive high school help your admissions chances?
don't know about my chances:
3.8 UC GPA
1300 SAT (580v,720m)
760 (math 2c), 570 (writing), 730 (US hist)
APs taken: euro, US, and art history (4,4,4)
current APs: BC calc, physics C, econ
(CSE major)
i was rejected from ucla, but made it into davis.
do i have a shot at ucsd? thx.

i have a 3.6 and a 1260; i got in UCLA. it's not all about the stats u guys. how well did u write ur personal statement?

so true lifegetsbetter. my gpa was 3.9 1290 sat and 700w/660 US History/ 690 Math IC and i managed to get into ucla this yr as well. essay makes a world of a difference... as well as extra-curricular and volunteer service... and being a minority first generation college student helps...
but i also think what ur majoring in decides whether or not a border line student makes the cut.
