Does anyone know whether it means anything if someone from college admissions calls an applicant at home to ask whether they've successfully finished a course? I would be amazed to learn they call applicants individually, which would be a waste of time...

well from what I see, it's a good thing. What in particular did they ask? If you tell this we could maybe better see what purpose was behind the call. From what I see though, it's a pretty good thing since UCLA has been pretty quiet about its admissions.

They wanted to know what grade I got in a math class I took this past winter semester. But then again, I'm a transfer student and most of you here seem to be freshmen, so this might be a totally different ballgame...
