Would that include journalism and the like? Personally I would aim for places such as NYU or USC- huge benefits include fantastic cities with amazing internship opportunities.

Top schools for communications are:
Northwestern, USC, Syracuse, Boston U, UNC Chapel Hill, Ithaca College, Emerson, U of Maryland College Park, U of Missouri.
Other schools with very good undergrad programs in communications: Creighton, Gettysburg Colege, Macalester, Trinity University (Texas), Villanova, Fairfield, Linfield, Loyola Marymount, U of Arizona, STanford, Muhlenberg, Pepperdine,
Quinnipiac, Santa Clara
But there are many other excellent communications schools out there depending on the size, selectivity and location you're looking for.

What about Marist? Are any schools known for great job placement and internships in broadcasting and/or production?
