Either people who have been rejected are so devasted that they dont come back to this forum or they haven't sent them out yet.

Where are you guys from? I'm just curious cuz SC is making a serious push for east coast kids.

good luck honeymoon. USC has a very active alumni base in London and admits quite a few people from the UK every year. I've met several SC alums living in London and they're all great people.

I wonder why i'm not being accepted by USC..I have a 1500 , 760 SAT2 average, 4.49 gpa, ranked 1, great ec, rec, pretty good essay..and USC seems like they won't accept me..oh well

I just got mine today accepted, lol the "You're in!" thing on the cover didn't give it away at all. I have a 4.01 W gpa and 1400 SAT (took 5 times...yes. I know .... but I guess they overlooked that) I have very good EC's. Also ohio resident.

To Moderator

Why is it that we cannot post anything pertaining to affirmative action? This is a pressing issue that affects almost everyone on this forum. There are even threads that have titles pertaining to affirmative action. Why was my writing crossed off...i was not offensive in any way...i just stated facts and stated my opinions of the people that were accepted. There are people on this forum that are taking surveys about race and acceptances into college; there are people that are conducting surveys on minorities and their affiliations with relatives and academic standing.

Is it okay for me then to conduct a survey concerning students who got accepted into USC who are of hispanic origin? Because if it is not okay...then you are shifting democracy to a whole new level!

ALright....Everyone who got accepted into USC and was in the second batch of acceptences and is of hispanic origin please post your acceptances here. And state ur stats as well. Thanks..doing survey for research paper for gov.

theoneandonly - for once, I'm with the moderator on this one.

it might have been alright if you had asked the question in a way that was not aggressive (ALL IN CAPS WITH LOTS OF EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!111), with such a sense of anger and hostility that makes it difficult to perceive your point without feeling hurt in the process.
I'm not hispanic myself, and I know you didn't have bad intentions, but just the way you phrased and wrote everything made you come off as quite irritating, close-minded and - if you happened to fall on someone who is super-sensitive to it all- almost racist.

anyway, I'm over this. let the original thread continue.
