I know this might seem a little anal, but I just sent in my update form for Stanford (I was deferred EA) and I just noticed that I might have been kind of unclear in my writing.
Here's part of what I wrote for my response on new awards:
"I have been selected as an Al Neuharth Free Spirit Scholarship and Conference Program participant. The program awards scholarships to the top 102 journalism students in the country (one male and one female from each state and D.C.) and selects winners based on high school grades, activities, samples of journalistic work, and essays which demonstrate qualities of a “free spirit.”"
I kinda noticed that by writing "participant" it sounds like I am just in the running for this award, when in actuality I had won it. Does anyone else think this? or am I just being incredibly paranoid? What do you think I should do about it?

You're being paranoid; I read it and it sounds just fine. Good luck, man!
