I JUST GOT INTO BRANDEIS!!!! I applied Early decision, and was deffered and today I just got a letter of acceptance. I am very excited and nervous at the same time because I will be moving all the way across the country. Does anyone know what GPA I must maintain this final semester? Also what happens if I get a C? Will I get my application revoked? -Evan

Congratulations! Doesn't it feel so good to get in after being deferred? lol

I have a question for you: what did you do after getting deferred that you think may have boosted your credentials? As I am myself deferred ED from Columbia, there would be nothing better than to sneak my way in come April.

Again, congratulations.

Thanks! I sent a letter to the admissions director updating them on what I have been up to. I also started taking an EMT class and told them about that. I also told them that my Mock Trial Team made Mock Trial Finals. I explained in the letter how much I wanted to go to Brandeis and how I belong at Brandeis. I also called them about three times over three months just to chat with the my admissions officer.

Thanks for posting. You're a good student who kept up with his activities and did the right thing! This definitely gives us hope or at least just makes us happy that you're happy! I wish I had written a letter, but alas!

Refering back to what grades I need to maintain, does anyone know? Good luck to all you guys who applied ED and were deffered, there is still hope! -Evan

Congrats! I'm still awaiting to hear RD from Brandeis. I have a good friend who is at Brandeis now, and she got a C+ in a class second semester. They didn't care at all. I would suggest not getting more than one though.
