Ok, so some kid just got notification from UCI that he got in. What's up with that? I know for a fact that Berkeley's admission notification is on March 30th at 4:00pm pacific time, but what about the other UC's? Does anyone know?

I believe it's supposed to officially be on March 1st for UCI.

I heard the same. But I don't care much for UCI. What about the other two big UCs? ie UCSD, UCLA?

Im pretty sure LA is mid march. not sure about SD. i haven't been notified yet from UCI.

By Crimsonclover (Crimsonclover) on Sunday, February 29, 2004 - 02:06 am: Edit
No, I didn't get an email saying that. It's probably spam or someone trying to trick you. If it's from a Berkeley official, the email address should end in "@berkeley.edu" or something like that.
Anyway, thanks for the info. Does anyone know any other dates for the other UCs? Davis, etc. Some of my classmates for notified on Thursday or so that they got into UCLA. What craziness. Too bad they're not all like Berkeley with an assigned date.

Theoneandonly you got to be f****** kidding me! Just because an email came from @berkeley.edu doesn't mean it was sent by berkeley.edu emails can be very easily spoofed and faked. I doubt that email has any validity to it. Post the whole thing.
By Flyguy (Flyguy) on Sunday, February 29, 2004 - 02:53 am: Edit
um how would someone know every applicant who applied to berkeley scorp?
Chances are if it isnt from Berkeley..Berkeley got hacked.
what is in the zip file GUYS?
By Entropie (Entropie) on Sunday, February 29, 2004 - 02:56 am: Edit
it's not openable. It's probably a virus. Why would berkeley attach a file?
By Theoneandonly (Theoneandonly) on Sunday, February 29, 2004 - 02:58 am: Edit
the zip file is for the second time... cbdd.zip
By Flyguy (Flyguy) on Sunday, February 29, 2004 - 03:00 am: Edit

Neuman said the administration is committed to mitigating the effect of the fee hike. gThe chancellor and I are acutely aware of the centrality of graduate education and the need for graduate student support. We do understand that this is fundamental and core to a great research university like ours.h
On freshman enrollment, UCLA has a preliminary target of admitting 3,915 students this fall (compared to 4,260 admitted last fall). It would be the smallest freshman class in the last 15 years. gWe can also expect a reduction in transfer students and some graduate students,h Olsen said.
Neuman assured faculty leaders that UCLA will protect its core values to maintain the highest standards of academic excellence.

Acceptance Rate will be 21.7%
3915/41.5%= 9321
9321/42916=21.7%
