An Oxford blue and black rugby shirt.

Andddd an Oxford hoodie.

That's all so far, but those are also the only 2 schools I've been to. My collection may increase as I begin to visit more... lol.

By Daggerlee (Daggerlee) on Saturday, February 28, 2004 - 01:05 pm: Edit

nothing so far.

I want a Dartmouth tee-shirt; been browsing the online stores. The official bookstore ones suck, and the Ivy-apparel ones look kind of shady.

I'm kicking myself for not getting an Amherst and Yale tee when I visited...I'll try getting a Princeton one if I ever visit again.

By Winterfresh (Winterfresh) on Saturday, February 28, 2004 - 01:16 pm: Edit

By H0neymoon (H0neymoon) on Saturday, February 28, 2004 - 05:02 pm: Edit

I'm a guy. That should explain everything :).

By Abz1986 (Abz1986) on Saturday, February 28, 2004 - 05:13 pm: Edit

and a Nebraska Huskers shirt from somewhere...

and I'm going to neither schools :/

By H0neymoon (H0neymoon) on Saturday, February 28, 2004 - 05:19 pm: Edit

But could someone explain why?? Why you would want to wear a shirt which has nothing to do with you? like no link whatsoever? what does it show? it's like me wearing a shirt saying "i've got blond hair" or "texas", when i'm a brunette from london!

By Mitwannabe (Mitwannabe) on Saturday, February 28, 2004 - 05:35 pm: Edit

oxford university sweatshirt, rugby shirt, tshirt, cuff-links, and cap

By Yodisistim (Yodisistim) on Saturday, February 28, 2004 - 05:39 pm: Edit

Rutgers Shirt (souvenir)...I decided not to get anything from my former acceptances (which are not ranked nearly as high as the schools up here) but more of the present transfer acceptances (American, Temple, UNC Chapel Hill*, NYU*) Hopefully.
Either that, or I'd just get the pennants

By Trojan1444 (Trojan1444) on Saturday, February 28, 2004 - 05:41 pm: Edit

Two Georgetown t-shirts (one they gave me), a Georgetown sweatshirt, and G-town basketball shorts.

Claremont McKenna t-shirt

By Daggerlee (Daggerlee) on Saturday, February 28, 2004 - 07:12 pm: Edit

H0neymoon - would it be better if we only bought clothes from colleges we were accepted to? That ought to count as a link, right?

ucsb, pepperdine, and usd hoodies

By Usunkmyb_Ship (Usunkmyb_Ship) on Saturday, February 28, 2004 - 09:34 pm: Edit

It could just be colleges we like, not neccesary that we'll go there. Or just souvenirs in many cases as in we've visited the campus before or someone that goes there sent it as a gift.
I wear London shirts because I've been there and I'm from the US.

By Madhouse (Madhouse) on Saturday, February 28, 2004 - 10:16 pm: Edit

hey if any of you got rejected from the schools, mail those things to me so u dont have to look at it again. lol

By Sunshine916 (Sunshine916) on Saturday, February 28, 2004 - 10:56 pm: Edit

i seem to gravitate towards bookstores when i visit colleges :) thank goodness i'm a midget and fit into the Kids/Youth clothing (a lot cheaper)

Princeton hoodie
Princeton t-shirt
Yale hoodie
Cornell hoodie
UPenn t-shirt
Skidmore t-shirt
5 University of Akron Engineering t-shirts

let's see, i've already been deferred from Princeton, but i wear it anyways. the UAkron stuff is from all the math/science engineering competitions i do there. they hand them out free.

i dont know what to do with them come April. i didnt even apply to UPenn! maybe i'll try to collect the whole ivy league?

I, like most people am really superstitious about this kind of thing. However, I own Stanford, ND, and Duke apparel. Stanford gave me a T-Shirt while I was there for FVP weekend. And when the admin officers told us almost everyone got in from last year, I bought shorts. I bought ND shorts and a T-Shirt after those admin officers told me I had a 97.5% of getting in (39/40). BTW, I was accepted. Finally, I vowed I wouldn't buy any Duke stuff because if I didn't get in, I wouldn't want to have to burn it. But, they sent me a T-shirt too. I love it. I sleep in it!

By Lmsgoodgirl (Lmsgoodgirl) on Sunday, February 29, 2004 - 11:56 am: Edit

Harvard hoodie
Dickinson College t-shirt (my mom's alma mater)

When I got into Harvard EA, my stock response was that I was so happy to have been accepted because now there was no need to burn my sweatshirt. A friend found this funny and gave me a second.
