my counselor told me that because my gpa was under 3.0, there was no way i would get accepted into any ucs, i was wondering if that was true, because ive heard of ppl with like 2.0 getting accepted into ucr and other ucs

if you have high SAT's and still meet their eligibility index, anything is possible. especially if you are instate and a minority. just make sure you have safeties as well.

If you are collegiat level good at football, basketball, or other high profile athletic events, then your grades aren't as crutial. (just keep that in mind and get training!!! lol)

There are possibilities but you do need those hooks..
