Hey everyone. I came across this forum just searching the web. Heres my story. Im a Junior at a pretty competitive High School In Michigan.All of my life I have been completly obsessed with Stanford University. I do not have amazing grades but they are ok. I did pretty well on my ACT, have yet to take my SAT. I was just wondering what i should expect as far as expectations for admission. I have a 3.78 with almost all advanced classes. I play Varsity Football and Baseball. (not good enough to play D1 in college though). So if you could provide me with any information about anything it would be great. thank you

Check out the archives of the Stanford forum, Rowan posted something a while back that tells you everything you need to know about what they're looking for.

With Stanford, I dunno. You're never really guaranteed to get in (unless you're an absolute athletic superstar), so it's ill-advised for anyone to have high hopes. Check out Rowan's post, it's very helpful.
