By Ndbisme2 (Ndbisme2) on Friday, January 02, 2004 - 03:30 pm: Edit

but is it qualified as a personal statement?

Write an essay which conveys to the reader a sense of who you are. Possible topics may include, but are not limited to, experiences which have shaped your life, the
circumstances of your upbringing, your most meaningful intellectual achievement, the way you see the world—the people in it, events great and small, everyday life—or any
personal theme which appeals to your imagination. Please remember that we are concerned not only with the substance of your prose but with your writing style as well.
We prefer that you limit yourself to the space provided.

I would have used it for the "What interest/activity is the most meaningful to you" essay for Yale, personally.

LOL...THANKS...VOIG...TROB...

By Ndbisme2 (Ndbisme2) on Friday, January 02, 2004 - 03:43 pm: Edit

that's what I did. But I also need a PS for other colleges that do not ask for a most meaningul activity.

Of course. It states you are personally interested in law, and describes why. Personal statements is by definition very broad and all-encompassing. If you feel law has played a big role in shaping you as a person, then use it!
