what should have been the last line: I push myself harder at school knowing my classrooms come with computers when some don’t even have pencils just the lead of a bullet and I yearn to do more for those kids before they lose the sparkle in their eyes.
left out the "some"

hey I understand your problem, I made two spelling mistakes in the non-essay section of the UC app. There is no need to get obsessive. Most likely they will not notice cuz they have very little time as it is. Plus, even if they do they will not hold it against you. U may feel that oh my god 8 applications.
But in the end its one typo per application which is peanuts.
Relax,
Take this from a guy who spent many sleepless nights over two wrongly typed words.

I wouldnt worry too much about it. I found out after submitting my national merit finalist app that I had two typos in my essay. This was an essay that both my parents, a guidance counselor and an english teacher had read. ALthough I worried for many days, a friend pointed out that if none of us had caught it, the chances they would catch it were miniscule, and that even if they did, they would assume it was just that, a typo. When reading, MOST people will assume that it said some, because thats how the human brain works. we read what we want to read, not necessarily what it says. DONT WORRY. Even in the worst of circumstances (that being that they notice the typo) they will know you had many applications to do and made a typo. Unless you are an EXTREMELY boarderline candidate there is less than a .01% chance they'll consider this. Really, its not a big deal.

I agree with what others said. Just so you know, on one of my daughter's essays sent to her EA school, I read it over many times as did other people. After it was sent, I noticed one word had a typo that spell check would not have caught cause the missing letter formed a new real word. However, while it is unfortunate, I think that so many people read it and never noticed, likely cause as others have said, our minds read it as the correct word which likely the adcom person will also do. Also if it is the only tiny mistake in an entire package, I do not think it will make or break things. She has corrected this when using that essay on any other apps. But we are not worked up over it and neither should you be. Relax, it is not a big deal, really.

It's also a run-on, actually. What'll probably happen is you'll leave the reader confused, and he/she will re-read the sentence a few times and not understand it.
But if the rest of your essay is good, it probably won't hurt your chances.

They read the essays pretty rapidly and are not trying to grade them like an English teacher would. One mistake isn't going to kill your chances.
