On a whim, I decided to apply to Connecticut College. Unfortunately, I did not decide this before break, and now the earliest that my teacher recs and counselor report will be sent out is January 5th. (they have a jan 1 deadline). Do you think this will affect my admission into their school? Everything else is sent on time...?

No, the deadlines are only for you, and loose at that.
