some schools (like Yale, Penn) clearly stated that students are welcome to send in CDs or taped if the student is talented
but what about other school that says nothing about music or art supplements?(chicago, cornell, brown, etc.)
if i send them in will it just annoy them?
and if i should send them in, should i just send them to the office of admissions and explain that its just a supplementary material?
thanx in advance

Cornell does say that you can send in music samples. It's not in the application forms, but in the inside cover/overview pages. I sent in sample music CDs to Yale, Penn, Brown, and Cornell.

Make sure your name AND social security number is on any supplementary material you send them. And if there is a place for comments on the on-line application, let them know that you are sending a supplementary CD, video, etc.
