I got accepted into Case Western EA. If the financial package looks good, I'll be heading to Cleveland in the fall.

And Becks - why should it always be about stats? I got the feeling (from the original poster) that this was just a place for people to post their accomplishments/disappointments. If people want stats of specific people who applied to specific schools, they can ask.

I dont know anybody so whats the point of just seeing accpetances and rejections??.....in other words i can directly say 10000 got accpeted to UCLA/ 30000 got rejected.........20000 accpeted to Uiuc and 20000 rejected.......whats the point?..hows it going to help anybody?

I'm in at Penn State-University Park.

My stats for PSU were: 3.8uw/1050SAT/alot of ECs. Now I have a 31 ACT score, so I'm re-evaluating my college choices.

XYZ, when did you send out your UCONN app? I'm still waiting to hear from them.

Anyway, as said before, I got into Penn State-University Park, stats: 92.33GPA/1350SAT/wrote the paragraph on Model UN involvement which will help me at Penn State/music involvement/etc. You can look up my full stats on the Cornell discussion.

I said I got into Northwestern so if you want the stats, here are my stats.

SAT: 1350 (V:670 M:680)
GPA: 3.985uw 4.5w
great teacher recs, good essay and lots of extra curricular activities... a strogn devotion to theatre(but that's not my major)

anything else you want?

btw- I didn't have to go to a great private school to be competitive enough to go there.. I go to a cruddy public school in Los Angeles.
Moral of the story is: you can do anything you want despite circumstances if you really try.

Accepted at Wheaton (IL). That will pretty much wrap it up.
1290 SAT (730 V) (560 M), 28 ACT, 3.7 GPA
3 sports, bunches of other EC's. I think it helped that I was a male applying from Louisiana.
I go to a not very ritzy, small private school in downtown Lake Charles.

I sent in all my stuff to UCONN in late september, they supposively didnt start sending out acceptances until Dec 1. Originally I applied to SUNY Binghamton in late september but my guidance department lost my transcript...so I still got that in before the EA deadline (12/1). Best of luck to all of you.
