I don't think they'll interact much with typical NYU students. The college that they're attending allows them to choose their own cirriculum (which makes me wonder what they plan to study). They'll probably be privately tutored by an NYU professor. Sorry to spoil your boner... ~~

privately tutored? i highly doubt it.. i'm sure they want to enjoy the college experience why else woudl tehy be going to college? They are already gizillionaires

if youre smart enough to get into NYU, u will be smart enough to know that NYC is home to many rich and glamorous people. now unless u can stand out from all of them, good luck.

ill bet you most of our class of 2008 will never get to meet either of them

I can stand out! When I went to Los Angeles, despite all the famous people lurking in Hollywood, I WAS STALKED! No joke- I had the LA police surrounding the Manns Chinese theatre on the lookout for him to make sure I was safe. I swear, I'm not making this up. It was SO scary! He'd been following me around Hollywood Blvd, but they got him in the end!

So HA! standing out in NYC will be NO PROBLEMO!

Subparasian, you obviously know nothing about Gallatin, or NYU. No one gets privately tutored by profs. LOL. And at a school with 50,000 students in a city with 8 million people, who cares if they're here? Certainly not those of us who are already here. And just to burst the bubble of those of you who think that the Olsen twins are the devil, my roomie spent a few hours with them when they were here on a tour earlier in the year. They're very nice girls, and also very smart.

admire the twins' initiative to get a college education and "experience" but really, how much does college have to offer them? will they be in freshman dorms? will they be able to hang out and just be college folks or do they have film/TV projects on the side? at least at NYU, they probably won't be gawked at ... diversity is much a part of NYU, even tho there are plenty of kids from silver spoon and sense-of-entitlement backgrounds.
