I took both SAT and ACT but did much better on ACT, than SAT. Took them both twice actually and had the same scores for each both times...On the application it asks for either ACT or SAT scores, is it okay if i just send in the ACT score? Do you think they will notice since that i didnt send in SAT scores that i did bad on those, it will hurt my chances?

This is for a transfer by the way, if that makes a difference.

Sigh.

Chill.

They take the highest score, even between ACTs and SATs, period.

got a 23 twice on ACT and averaged a 990 on SAT...so i'd assume not to even send the SAT

???

Where are you trying to transfer into? Is a 23 any better than a 990? I'm not trying to be smart, I just don't know.

Well I did better on the SAT than ACT. I'll record both on my application but only officially send my SAT scores. Why spend more money to show them a score that's not as good? I really can't afford to send the ACT scores to 7 more colleges!

I think if you only officially send the ACT scores, it'll be fine. Unless of course they specifically ask for the SAT.

According to college board site, a 980-1010 = 21 ACT. 1060-1080 = 23 ACT

My did a little better on SAT, but his transcript has all of his scores, so the school will see the ACT anyway.

i think 'They' will see both
