Question to people who've gone to college's summer programs, either for HS students only or just summer session itself. Did you apply to that school and was it easier to get in?
I attended MIT's WTP program this summer, and was wondering if it would increase my chances of acceptance.

My D attended a summer program at Boston U this past summer. We received mixed feedback from her guidance counselors and others as to whether this helps or not. Generally the responses we received were that it certainly cannot hurt. More importantly though, it was a very enriching experience for her and gave her a glimpse of college life, and helped her to make some important decisions as to what she wanted out of college. Btw, she's applying to BU so we'll see if it helped!
