The USC application wants applicants to include as many of the application forms as possible in one envelope. For the teacher recommendations, should I just keep the forms in separate envelopes and place them into the large envelope, or open the envelopes that my letters are all in and organize them in order so it is easier for the college to find them in the application packet (rather than opening six little envelopes). Does it matter if the recommendations are not sealed when they receive them? Thanks.

Yes it matters. You should give your teachers a stamped & pre-addressed envelope. They do not accompany your app, they are supposed to be confidential, it they are open it will put up a red flag. Schools are used to matching the files up, there should be a rec sheet which provides space for identifying info. Your teacher should mail them, it is supposed to be direct correspondence between the rec and the college--you should be out of it.

That's how I'm doing it for all my schools, except the USC application says that you should include as much as possible from a checklist they provide in a single envelope. Teacher recommendations are on that list. While I've been having my gteachers send them directly to the other colleges I'm applying at, I've been saving my USC ones to send. Should I send them separately?

If USC is asking for you to send everything together then you should get the recommendations from the teachers, keep them sealed and send them all together in a large envelope.
