Do most early decision schools require quarterly reports (i.e. first marking period grades)? Would it be a wise idea to send them anyway or should one wait until mid-year reports? This is a common app. school and this issue was not specifically requested. Thanks...

I would send them if they were good because i was talking to my counselor and she said that they may use it as a factor in your admission.

I think most schools only look at "official" reports.

If they are really good/improved over last year, it doesn't seem like it would hurt to send them. I'd assume the college would only disregard them if they did not want them, but would not penalize you. If your grades are basically the same as they have always been, it probably wouldn't have much of an effect. Good luck~
