Hey! As most of us are applying to competitive schools and are required to send in first marking period grades--I was just wondering how everyone did. I was so stressed out this marking period and my grades suffered a little bit but I pulled them back up and I'm happy now! I ended up with a 4.0w, how about everyone else?
Oh yeah--and does anyone know if your school can send ap grades for you or do you have to do it some other way?

I have (I think) a 3.78 unweighted...
Honors Government - A
AP English IV - A
Math Analysis [ap] - B
Religion IV [c1] - A
AP European History - A
AP Physics - A-

I am required to take Religion, and there's no honors/ap offered. And government is required to graduate from CT high schools now...even though my school is private and can bypass that...*grumble*

ANYway...I am still trying to learn how to calculate a weighted GPA.

i got all a's, but one teacher accidently gave me a b+. i talked to him and he said he's going to change it.

i'm worried because i applied early action, and if they already sent the guidance recommendation, it might be too late.

Screwed around during frosh/soph years, and got a little more serious jun year. This year i just put in a little more effort. Last year UW=3.5, this year its 3.7. Both years i had a b in a theology class (BUUUUUUULLLLLLLSHIIIIIITTT classes). Anyways, am i REQUIRED to report theology classes because i couldnt give a •••• if i wanted to in the class. Without them, my gpa would go up about .3 points last year, and .2 this year. Wow this post is really starting to make no sense so ill just stop.

Our school doesn't send senior grades if you're applying early b/c our 1st quarter ended Nov. 5, so it was like a week too late. We didn't get our 1st quarter grades yet.
