I included quite a bit of scientific research in one of my essays. Should I include a bibliography, citing the sources of my information? I don't want anything like the Blair Hornstein incident happening to me.

Don't put a bibliography in. That would be too formal for this kind of essay. Just work into the body of your essay where you got the info from. And if you quote or paraphrase any sources, make sure you say what the sources are.

Or at the end of your essay include: ("Source citations and bibliography provided upon request").
